Vibrations of the high-lift fairing and kinematic components have been measured during flight tests in the past. Two main aspects should be taken into account in the modelling and simulation of the high-lift systems: structural non-linearities and the aeroelastic effects. This project tries to tackle both issues, firstly building a non-linear structural model of the outboard flap system and secondly coupling it with its aerodynamic mesh. Hence, the ultimate goal of this work is to develop an aeroelastic methodology that can be used to predict loads and vibrations during the design phase.<eng>
