Freedom is one of the most important political ideals. In this seminar we will explore the current debate within contemporary political theory regarding the ideal of freedom. We will analyse its nature, its value, its measurability, its relation to other important political ideals, such as justice and equality, and also apply these analyses to current public policy issues. |
