Abstract

On the example of professional football in Germany, this thesis analyses the conflict about the punishment of fan misbehaviour. Based on the evaluation of past sentences and expert interviews and further using an agency-theoretical framework and stakeholder theory the goal is to cast light on the reasons for the ineffectiveness of the sentences and to show possible solutions.
